Designing and presenting their research and best practice pieces has been large part of my job. I’ve produced many whitepapers, guides, and promo pieces for both print and online distribution. A few examples follow below.
2021 Fortune 500 Candidate Conversion Audit
This Jobvite report presented findings on the recruiting challenges facing enterprise-level employers. It analyzed the factors that impact candidate conversions within the apply process and offered best practices on removing barriers. Discover Your Recruiting Sea Squad
Personas are often a helpful way to present information in a manner to which people can relate. In this piece from 2020, recruiters’ approaches to the way they do their jobs were broken down into four “squads”. It was fun to break away from people imagery and create some playful sea creatures. Job Seeker Nation Reports 2022, 2021, and 2020
Each spring, Jobvite published the report which presented data compiled from surveys by Zogby Analytics. The project was a fun challenge each year to keep the large number of charts, graphs, and stats from becoming overwhelming. Because some of the data presented was not always good news, we settled on a style that was lighthearted without being overly playful. The 2019 Hidden Metrics of Email Deliverability
This report was a strong driver of leads for our Sales Dev and Sales teams. Lots of statistics for seven key metrics across 27 industries. The primary deliverable was a gated, interactive PDF. The Field Marketing team also printed it for direct mail campaign and for distribution at conferences. Design incorporated original graphics and customized, stock graphics.

The Great Email Escape
2019 Hermes Creative Awards, Platinum Award Winner for Outstanding Integrated Marketing Campaign. This piece covers breaking out of bad email practices that are holding many email marketing campaigns back. The escape room theme is related to the amazing online game that Jonathan Foerster and Jon Whitney created. It was a timed escape room that you could only escape by correctly answering email best practices questions. The report was available as a gated resource only. ExactTarget Employee Manual
We wanted the ET Employee Manual to be something that people held onto vs. the typical 3-ring binder setups of the time. The design was narrow in width and incorporated a wrap-around cover that closed via a magnet held within the cover stock. Another fun collaboration with Nicole Ross on content, messaging, and concept. Phenomenal die-cut and bindery work from Print Resources in Indy. Design incorporated original graphics and original photography.

ExactTarget Product Brochure
The goal was to create the simplest product brochure available. Square in shape, product colors on white stock, statistics or quotes, along with a brief product descriptions per section. The brochure was distributed at events and as part of customer welcome kit. Design incorporated original graphics and customized, stock graphics.

ExactTarget “Little Brown Book”
This piece won a 2010 InHOWse Design Award from HOW Magazine. We went with a low-tech, handmade feel for this college recruiting book. It was used as part of the ExactTarget Slingshot and Catapult programs. Hard cardboard cover, paper clips, die-cuts, and I created a hand drawn “aerial view” of Indianapolis for the map on the center spread. A fun collaboration with Nicole Ross on content, messaging, and concept. Excellent die-cut, bindery, and hand work from Print Resources in Indy. Design incorporated original graphics and original photography.
