Connections is always a massive team effort and 2014 was the largest yet. It also was the most labor-intensive from the design team’s standpoint. Rebranding efforts impacted the website, signage, main stage, presentations, web banners, and all supporting materials. The team pulled together and made the event a wonderful success.
The Connections 2014 logo was a prime example of the need for adaptability. Typically we had to ensure the logo worked on orange, but this year the logo had to work on Salesforce blue as well. Because the original design incorporated both ET orange and Salesforce blue, I created logo variants that worked on orange, blue, white and gray backgrounds. Connections always features many breakout sessions. The 2014 event had more than ever. The templates below were used as a basis for a majority of the presentations.
The event has always been a way to showcase our city and the 2014 conference was the last to be held in Indy. The 2015 conference will be held in NYC.
